THE CONNECTION

When you begin to intentionally slow down, get to know your neighbor, share a meal, and create something together, an unexplainable bond begins to happen and unexpected friendships are built.

The Connection is our Thursday evening program where lively discussions occur around the dinner table followed by a creative activity.

Research shows that creative expression allows us to connect at deeper levels. The creative focus is made through a variety of art forms, whether drawing, painting, calligraphy, collaging, or making something beautiful for your home. We also explore dance, yoga, exercise, music, poetry, and other art forms.

Creative expression not only provides space for healing and relaxation, but it also allows us the freedom to make mistakes, laugh, and build friendships with others who are learning along with us!

The Connection focuses on relationship-building and strengthening of community among the residents and the downtown sector and is resulting in much growth. In this facet of outreach, PostScript serves both women and men residents as well as the surrounding community. We welcome both women and men volunteers. Come share your gifts and talents.

Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00

September through May (with a couple of holiday breaks) Check our calendar for exact dates.
